The Kalahari Desert covers about 70 percent of Botswana, making it one of the most sparsely populated countries in the word. Yet this landlocked country is home to an abundance of plains game, huge herds of buffalo and plenty of Africa’s apex predators. The magnificent Chobe National Park is a refuge for the world’s biggest population of Kalahari elephants, and the virtually untouched Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site and arguably one of Nature’s greatest masterpieces – one of Africa’s last remaining Gardens of Eden.

Our Botswana safari itineraries range from luxury to rugged adventure and are ideal for photo safaris and multi-generational family vacations.

Most guests arrive in South Africa at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg for the start of this safari where you will be met by a member of the African Spirit Safari Team and a 3 hours drive to a Lodge in the Limpopo province, built around a wildlife photography gallery once you have checked in and settled in your rooms.

Other than that, you will be well fed and watered with African Spirit Safaris with all the meals and drinks (soft and local beers with a few different alcoholic liquors) included in the package.

From Only: R80 500.00 per person

The Chobe River is the only constant water source in the Northern Section of the Chobe National Park and attracts huge herds of elephants and plains game to its banks. The river is also home to plenty of hippo and crocodiles and hundreds of species birds including one of the healthiest populations of Fish Eagles in Africa. African Spirit Safaris offers morning and afternoon game drives and boat cruises in the Chobe National Park.
