THE 8 DAY CAPE TOWN TOUR

DAY 1 : CAPE TOWN

Guests are welcomed at the Cape Town International Airport.  The tour travels to one of most popular tourist attractions and landmarks in South Africa, Table Mountain where guests will take a short cableway trip to the top of the mountain.  Appreciate the beautiful views over Cape Town, Lion’s Head and the ocean.  Thereafter guests will visit the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens where they will go on a unique tour throughout the 528 hectares area.  Guests are met and transferred to their hotel.

DAY 2 : CAPE TOWN

On day two guests will have the opportunity to sample great South African wines at various renowned wine farms in the beautiful town of Franschhoek.

DAY 3 : CAPE TOWN

On day three you will be taken on a scenic drive around the Cape Peninsula to the Cape of Good Hope. We’ll drive via Chapman’s Peak Drive, a picturesque mountain route.  Guests can take a short walk up to the new lighthouse to see the amazing view from up there. While in the area guests can visit the best place to view a colony of African penguins, Boulders Beach.

DAY 4 : OVERBERG

During the middle part of your tour, we’ll travel via the Overberg area, starting at Gordon’s Bay and ending in Arniston.  This little town is situated close to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa with a spectacular view over the ocean.  On our way to Arniston we’ll make a stop in Hermanus for some whale watching and a quick lunch

DAY 5 : GARDEN ROUTE

Another highlight of the tour is a drive through the Garden Route, stopping in the small harbour town, Mossel Bay. Here you can visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex, named after the Portuguese navigator when he set foot on South African soil in 1488. On route we’ll also stop at a few more coastal towns including Knysna, Wilderness and Sedgefield.

DAY 6 : GARDEN ROUTE

Located in the Klein Karoo lies the ostrich capital of the world, Oudtshoorn.  On the ostrich farm you will have the opportunity to get close to these ancient birds as well as feed them. Next up is the Cango Caves, a cave with drip stone formations, the highest of which stands 12.6m tall.

DAY 7 : GARDEN ROUTE

Enjoy a relaxing day on the Knysna Lagoon. The ferry will take you to theFeatherbed Nature Reserve situated on the Western Head in Knysna.  Go for a nature walk and lunch.  In the afternoon we’ll stop at Plettenberg Bay for a cocktail while the sun is setting. A perfect way to end the tour!

DAY 8 : DEPARTURE

Guests will be taken to George Airport for a flight to Cape Town. On arrival at Cape Town International Airport they will transfer to their international flight back to their country of origin.  Assistance is available.
