Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in southern Africa known for its dramatic landscape and diverse wildlife, much of it within parks, reserves and safari areas.
On the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the major waterfall on the Zambezi River in Africa. It is famous for being the largest waterfall in the world, in the wet season. The African people who live around the falls call it Mosi-oa- Tunya which means "smoke that thunders".The thundering waterfall makes a 108m drop into narrow Batoka Gorge, where there’s white-water rafting and bungee-jumping.
Downstream are Matusadona and Mana Pools national parks, home to hippos, rhinos and birdlife. Wildlife is rich is diversity in Zimbabwe and has something for everyone.
